briar literally can't touch her, the 1s invulnerability drops w aggro. even if you land ult, if she uses w, briar just runs off to hit someone else for that second
naafiri was already a point-and-click champ before the rework, but back then she was a total pushover because any cc would just stop her w. that's why she needed unstoppable, but now... i mean, she's got untargetability on her w so...
if you're sure you can get the kill, it's safer to just use it during teamfights after popping w
