A helpful tip that’s surprisingly useful when leveling a smurf (since the skin is free)
First, the Premium Chest looks different from regular Hextech Chests.
While Hextech Chests have a blue glow, Premium Chests have a purple glow.
You get a Premium Chest when your summoner level reaches 5.
Its contents include a 975 RP skin, a ward skin, Orange Essence, and Blue Essence.
Here’s the important part.
You can get a champion skin shard for the champion of your choice!
The method is to buy the champion you want before opening the Premium Chest.
For example, if you buy Zed, you’ll get Shockblade or Championship, and if you buy Yasuo, you’ll get Blood Moon or High Noon.
If you’ve already opened your Premium Chest, you might be disappointed, but I hope those of you leveling smurfs get the skins you want. :D

I have a question: if all the skins of the champions I own are 975 RP or more, what would come out? For example, if the only champions I own are Xayah and Rakan, Star Guardian Xayah and Star Guardian Rakan are both 1350 RP each, so normally they shouldn't appear. I'm curious what would happen.

Back when I first started League, this chest popped up and I was like sooo into Rammus, I wanted the Desert Guardian skin so bad and then it actually gave it to meee, I was so happpyyy, so I still one-trick Rammus to this day.. sleepy~
