Day 1: Started writing this after hearing my top 3 mains became trash champs. Naturally I checked OP.GG stats. Saw that most people build Cosmic Drive as their 2nd core item on OP.GG. That efficiency was absolute garbage, so I decided to start researching the build path.
Day 2: Began proper research. Scrolled through YouTube and saw a build with Hextech Alternator x2 into Night Harvester into Zhonya's. But since I saw someone running Electrocute top, I figured Phase Rush could work mid too, so I looked into it.
Day 3: Went mid with the standard top runes. Maxed Q 3 points then maxed E. Build path: rush Night Harvester, grab a stopwatch, then straight into Rabadon's — I felt the lack of damage was the bigger issue. Third item Zhonya's. No games went past 3 items today so I called it.
Day 4: Tested whether yesterday's build path was actually viable. Feels like I've finalized a 45-minute full-build path: Night Harvester -> Stopwatch -> Rabadon's -> Ionian Boots of Lucidity -> Zhonya's -> Cosmic Drive -> Morellonomicon or Mejai's Soulstealer/Rylai's (only with Dark Seal start).
Day 5: Tested if yesterday's build is practical. People still rush Cosmic Drive early. Pretty sure my build is better.
Day 6: Tried Saeru's Empire Rylai's build. It's meh. Not enough ability haste, and while the 2-item spike is better than Rabadon's + Night Harvester, it's disappointing that the damage doesn't come online from the first item — only really shows at 2 items. The build I made before is probably better. I'll keep researching, but for now my build seems like the best one.
