LoL Ban Criteria Summary (Long post, tl;dr at the bottom)

1. Racism

You shouldn't be complaining about this, it's obvious. There are 3 things in this world you don't mess with:

One is your parents. Another is religion. And the last one is racism.

Calling someone a ch*nk is included as a racial slur and gets you banned too, so don't argue.

2. Disability slurs I heard these don't get you banned. They've pretty much set a rule that calling someone disabled isn't considered an insult.

But if you take it too far, it will get you banned.

3. When your sentence gets **'d out This one the automated system doesn't catch.

For example, if you say "Nasus come fast" (나서스 빨리와), the filter turns a part of it into "나서* *리와" but since it looks like a normal sentence, it doesn't flag you.

4. Intentional feeding People ask why Riot doesn't catch you even if you die a lot. But if you suicide-dive into towers, you're 100% getting a ban.

5. If you play well then troll once, you won't get caught If you've been doing fine but keep losing and then start feeding, you won't get banned. Riot's system thinks: "Ah, this guy's been under a lot of stress, let him int once."

That's actually how it works, and honestly, I can kinda understand it.

6. When a human reviews it instead of the program I looked into this while making this post.

Looking at that game, the Syndra was trolling but followed these rules:

1. Never type in chat 2. Never intentionally feed 3. Deal damage to enemies 4. Keep up with team levels 5. Never AFK

I heard they did this for about 40 games and got banned. The reason they got banned was because their Zyra teammate said: "I'm gonna report you to Riot support."

And Syndra replied with: "np, they only send AI replies anyway"

Something like that.

But there was actually worse trolling and even lower damage in other games, so why did only this one get banned?

Because Riot manually checked it and handed out the ban.

1. To get intentional trolls banned, you have to report them. 2. Calling someone a ch*nk counts as a racial slur. 3. Yasuo, when are you coming back, you absolute bastard?
