harder than you think

• compared to sett, darius, trundle, olaf, he's not as easy. he can't just outskill people and he doesn't even get gank kills easily his kit might look simple but you need a lot of detail. when to use w, whether you can kill them with q-flash-e-r even when you're low hp, whether to split push, whether to build damage and assassinate the adc — you need brain power on par with the most demanding toplaners

surprisingly adc-resistant. no lie, i think he's more adc-resistant than aatrox. his q gives movespeed, w gives 50% cc reduction, passive lets him regen after getting hit, so he keeps healing. once you get stridebreaker, you can q in and use stridebreaker and suddenly the matchup flips against the adc

he can assassinate. adcs just see this guy as a sandbag, but if a damage garen does q-flash-e-r, adcs fucking melt. the late-game damage high is pretty nice. assassinating adcs is so good i often go infinity edge as my third item
