yeah this is true. when it comes to climbing in league what's important is being good at the game you gotta keep playing sure but to get to diamond+ you basically need to know every champ's abilities including passives and their power spikes too on top of that jg pathing, objective control, split pushing, teamfighting — saying all that was perfected in 6 months is impossible unless you have pro level talent

혜지리븐For top, the best thing to do is practice 3 champs: your main, the champ you counter your main with, and the most common top counterpick in the current meta. I practiced Fiora and Darius as my mains. For counterpicks, I practiced Jayce and Teemo. Back then there was a top Viktor meta, so I picked Teemo with max Q first and shredded everyone. Urgot and Sion are hot right now, but I'm guessing Conqueror changes will make a new sleeper op pop up.

나미해주세요I just can't win. When I queue solo, I try so hard that every single death stresses me out for no reason, but the enemy team somehow wins even if they AFK and come back. Meanwhile I'm stuck here tryharding in unwinnable games, getting stressed out, and just keep losing. It's exhausting. If I hit a loss streak, I take a break. Come back after a break, and lose again. This has been going on for a month now T.T

Okay so from what I've seen personally, as a support main you absolutely cannot solo climb past plat unless you play hook champs... and even if you could, the stress would probably stop you anyway lol

luxsupportIf by 'damage support' you mean Brand, Zyra, or Lux, then honestly if you can carry with them you should just go mid. But if you're playing Bard, Soraka, or Zyra (the mage support type), you can get to Diamond just by winning lane.

If you're a mid laner, just mastering LeBlanc and Lissandra is enough to stomp everything in the current meta.

dreamcarI get why you'd be pissed. You've been grinding for years and you're stuck in bronze/silver/gold, and then some noob who's only been playing for 6 months hits D2. Makes you feel pretty pathetic, right? But you're only looking at the surface. If you count just the AoS genre alone, I've played way more than most League players. And I've been watching pro matches, even old ones, long before I started playing. I watch pro vods as a given, I go through every champion one by one, and I even take notes on matchup spreads in Notepad. Even a newbie can check OP.GG for winrates and counters, right? But you never put in that work since day one, so it just looks like you're being petty. Don't care.

For a champ like Lulu, the real key is being able to turn a losing fight into a winning one with your play. At the end of the day, Lulu is all about her ult. You need to play mind games as much as possible and then drop the ult at the decisive moment. From a support perspective, first off you absolutely need to have two control wards in your inventory at all times. For laning, if you're with something like Ezreal or Kai'Sa, you play safe; if you're with Lucian or Kalista, you play aggressively, that's the way to go. When you're playing aggressive, avoiding ganks is important, but you also need the game sense to keep the enemy jungler stuck around bot lane so they can't leave. And once you get bot turret first blood, or when you're sieging mid or top with your team, you absolutely have to have good vision on both sides of the river so the ADC feels comfortable.

Honestly, just one-tricking a champ who ignores meta entirely is the easier way to climb. For me that was Draven.

tbh just pick a carry jungler and keep ganking—you'll start seeing the pathing and how to make plays. if you get fed on like Camille, Lee Sin, Nocturne or something and still lose, that's on you.

First off, if someone doesn't get their main role, dodge for sure. As for 4+ losses in a row, I don't usually dodge tbh—they've already dropped to where they belong after all those losses, so their MMR should be lower. If someone's flaming for no reason in champ select, they usually end up dodging themselves anyway. I've never dodged in ranked personally. Only real exception is when someone locks Nunu with Ghost and Cleanse and then their status goes AFK at the start—then it's an auto-dodge.

Unless you're absolutely smashing it with a 75%+ winrate, I don't think winrate really matters that much. Obviously your climb is already factored into that number anyway, and if you didn't start at that rank from the very beginning, then it's not even your current tier's winrate to begin with.

don't play lategame champs in silver, game'll snowball before that and when it does everyone tilts and starts flaming once the fighting starts you can't even see the comeback angle and the game's just over

dldldldl123yo i literally ran into the same shit like 3 or 4 days ago — a soraka with predator. she was glued to me in lane, backed at the perfect lvl 3 timing, bought boots, came back and kept fueling me up, then we got first brick around 11 minutes. look up my account and you'll see a predator soraka game in my match history. honestly i don't think it's always a troll pick

Think of the jungler and mid as one unit. Always buy a control ward if you have spare gold. When you can push the wave, decide clearly whether to roam or invade the enemy jungle with your jungler, then move accordingly.

Comeback wins. I really think that's the biggest factor in climbing. Turning a losing game into a win is turning -20 LP into +20 LP. That's huge. Keeping your mental in check and playing through to the end is what matters.

nah, i was actually more shocked that they placed me in gold. my normal mmr was so high that i was running into diamond players right before i hit 30.

With Lissandra, laning phase is kinda passive on its own—you gotta fix it by calling ganks or roaming. If our jungler is Nocturne or Lee Sin, tell them in chat you can 100% follow up with ult and ask them to come. As for roaming paths and stuff? Look up some vids and you'll figure it out bit by bit.

I guess it depends on how you play League. If you can enjoy it win or lose and have fun, then there's no reason to stop. But if losing just stresses you the hell out, then yeah, probably better to quit. Hard to say for sure unless you're the one dealing with it, though.

nah same for me i was gaining 25-26 lp til plat 1 then as soon as i got promoted i was only getting like 18 lp seems like diamond just gives less lp

the basic mechanics of league is to just try getting hit first, and realizing what went wrong is what really matters same with everything else, if you keep repeating the same mistakes you won't improve the reason i said 300 games per season as a cutoff is based on this i don't do this myself but if you can be bothered to watch replays of just the games you lose, you'll probably get better if i myself couldn't hit diamond 1, i'd watch my own replays after every loss

i'm the type who barely types in chat when playing league and i get it, i know what you mean. honestly, people who don't listen just won't listen, no matter what. so i try to guide them instead. like, the enemy mid is an Ezreal who's playing like an absolute rat, never giving up tower, just staying alive and csing. and my team could win the fight but we're just letting him farm mid. so what i do is i just shove the mid wave and run top, and force my team to follow me. i know if i go top and die, the game's over, so i play accordingly.

Honestly, top lane's a prayer meta these days. Doesn't matter how hard you stomp your lane—if the enemy jg/mid takes over the map, you can't flip the game. You're better off picking something like Darius or Illaoi that can draw at least 3 people to your split. That's literally how I climbed last season, just splitting on Illaoi and Darius.

i swear i have never once won lane against a top tahm kench this fucker's species is probably motherfucker idk. i dont get why his laning is so strong. but laning and carrying are two different things. i have never seen anyone carry with this champ. nowadays if you want to carry from top you gotta either pick irelia aatrox urgot vlad and stomp lane then do damage and tank in teamfights, or pick yorick illaoi jax darius, stomp lane the same way, then splitpush and go for 1v2 or 1v3 trades.

Well I'm just a plat scrub so I can't say I'm on OP's level, but when that happens I just invade the enemy jungle since those kids don't know Shyvana's strong 1v1 and their laners are slow to rotate, so I just walk into the enemy jungle, kill the Lee Sin type gank junglers, take some camps, and as long as I back out at the right time the jungle gap takes care of itself

Can't really do anything about that. Prolly just spam Xin Zhao level 2 bot ganks, and once you hit a tier where ppl dodge it 3 times in a row, that's when you start playing your own champ.

If you're below Gold, you're better off going top lane instead of mid and practicing laning and fighting. With the new Conqueror patch + Yasuo's always been a champ that's good at setting up ganks, just keep shoving the top wave to apply pressure and think about angles while waiting for the enemy jungler to show up so you can try to bag 'em both.
