OP.GG Community General Terms of Use

Hello. This is Galio, the administrator for talk.op.gg. To maintain a healthy community culture, please make sure to read and follow the guidelines below.

1. Basic Etiquette and Rules of Conduct (Mandatory)

1. Mutual Respect
   • Hate speech, family insults, profanity, slander, and targeting specific users are strictly prohibited.
   • Trolling, spamming, and attention-seeking behavior are not allowed.
   • Please communicate with an attitude of respect and consideration for others.
2. ⚠️ Content Warning
   • Any posts violating Article 8 of the Regulations on Information and Communication Deliberation are prohibited.
   • Sexually suggestive or provocative images/videos, adult content, and illegal recordings are banned.
   • Distribution of pornography is strictly prohibited.
   • Promotion, advertising, or leaking personal information outside of OP.GG services is not allowed.
3. Conflict Prevention
   • Habitually instigating conflicts, targeting members, or posting about in-game toxicity is prohibited.
   • Such content is only permitted in the Incidents & Accidents board.
4. Account Management
   • Only one account per person is allowed.
   • Using multiple accounts for disruption, inappropriate nicknames, or manipulating upvotes is prohibited.
5. No Politics
   • All political content (including words and images) is banned.
   • Political discussions are only allowed on the Jabdamso (off-topic) site.
6. No Excessive Personal Networking
   • Private conversations that only the involved parties can understand are prohibited.
   • Attempting to become a "named user" through specific personas or gimmicks is not allowed.
   • Communicating by specifically mentioning nicknames to exclude others is prohibited.
   • Sharing contact info (Game IDs, phone numbers, Discord, Open Chat links, etc.) is banned.
7. No Slander Against the Service
   • Spreading false information or slandering administrators to disrupt service operations is prohibited.
   • Please use the Help Center for any service-related inquiries.
8. Format Violations
   • Use the Find User board for recruitment posts.
   • Use the Jabdamso site for political posts.
   • Use the Incidents & Accidents board for in-game disputes or member call-outs.

2. Additional Rules for the Video Board

• Illegal advertisements and promotional event videos are prohibited.

3. Content Excluded from Popular Posts

1. Posts that violate basic etiquette and rules of conduct.
2. Posts with multiple reports for violating announcements.
3. Posts that solicit upvotes or raise concerns about exclusive personal networking.
4. Posts containing external links.
5. Sexually suggestive posts:
   • Images excessively emphasizing breasts, buttocks, thighs, or facial expressions.
   • Images featuring suggestive outfits or poses.
   • Posts containing suggestive keywords.
   • Transparent depictions of specific body parts or exposure of underwear.
   • These standards also apply to AI-generated images.
