First, here's my tier proof
(Hit Master and currently just playing enough to prevent decay)
I'm a jungle main, and I'm going to write down how to actually climb in this role
1. Try to stay focused every single game, every single moment
If you're just playing for fun, that's fine But if you want to climb, especially as a jungler, you need to be reading the flow of the game at all times "I'll finish this camp and look for a counter-gank," "The enemy jungler should be around here," "Mid is resetting, so I need to move accordingly," etc. The entire game state needs to be in the palm of your hand This means you have to keep reading the flow regardless of whether you're tilted or playing poorly
2. The first gank is extremely important
This applies to both you and the enemy The moment the first gank happens, the mind games between junglers truly begin I started blue side, but the enemy started red and ganked bot? Then you have to decide whether to cover top or look for a counter-gank mid and play the map against them The direction of the game is determined by the info from this first gank
3. Make good use of lane priority
For example, if our mid laner is absolutely stomping their opponent You should cover their back, help them shove to secure a reset, or roam with them to kill the enemy jungler, etc. You have to utilize your laners' priority Conversely, if mid is getting pushed in, secure vision for them or move to the complete opposite side of the enemy jungler to make plays
4. Make buying Control Wards a habit
If you have 100g left over, always buy a Control Ward If you have 200g, it's best to buy two Knowing whether your gank path is warded or not is crucial And having a Control Ward in the enemy jungle provides incredibly useful info Sweepers and stealth wards have their limits, so make sure to buy plenty of Control Wards
5. Watch your replays
Unlike laners, junglers can learn something even from games where they got absolutely stomped At the very least, you can watch and learn from what the enemy jungler did "Ah, I should've skipped this camp and looked for a counter-gank here instead," etc. Self-feedback is extremely important, and it's especially effective for the jungle role
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. I'd love to learn more from you—is there any way I can get in touch?

I think this will be quite helpful.

I want to add one more thing to back up this post. When you're ahead, you absolutely have to act as a human ward. There's always someone playing the side lanes while you're trying to secure vision for specific objectives. If you go in with your support to clear vision and just hold control of the bushes near your side laners, your win rate in solo queue will skyrocket. I wasn't even that good at League and didn't play much, but once I combined the tips above with my own approach, I went from being hardstuck Bronze/Silver to absolutely stomping Plat and Emerald players, even when I only play occasionally.

Wow, these are words to live by

I just hate power-farming junglers.

My top 3 rules: 1. Never gank a losing lane. (Mute everyone) 2. Track the enemy jungler and counter-jungle as much as possible. 3. Securing objectives doesn't automatically mean you win.

i just came back to the game after a long break and tried playing in low elo but there are literally morons in every single game who manage to die 3 times before i even finish my first gank lol

The reality is that none of that actually matters in low elo
