Honestly, why not make a movie survival show backed by sponsors and broadcasters?
Pick writers of popular novels, webtoons, and scripts, along with submissions from regular people, gather them all together, and let them get real-time evaluations, feedback, and votes through viewer donations — then turn the winning ideas into actual movies.
So it'd be like: Part 1: Survival show Part 2: Open auditions for the movie production — massive open casting for everyone from actors to directors.
Pick unknown actors, writers, and directors using the votes, donations, and sponsor resources accumulated through the show. Then have that team work together to make storyboards and short films. Viewers vote, and 1 or 2 solid ones get made into full movies.
Honestly, it'd give opportunities to unknowns who never had a chance, answer the question of "why can't directors and writers do better than this?", and give viewers something to look forward to and enjoy.
Since it'd be more transparent than other films, wouldn't the results be higher quality?
With AI these days, the cost of producing short films from brief storyboards has dropped a lot, so if sponsors line up, I think it's possible.
Even if it sounds unrealistic, wouldn't it be fun to see something like this at least once?
Hell, even if it's not movies, I'd love to see webtoons released this way. Seeing the series I follow change artists, get ego trips, and have the ending go into the gutter makes me think they need some checks and opportunities.
