I usually chat about specific fetish genres on the community.
But I've had a real-life situationship before.
And since that day, I just can't get into 2D anymore.
Guess I'm into chubby cute real women now — if she's not the girl I was seeing, I'm just not interested.
Sometimes when we talk about that genre, people ask if I'm genuinely into it or if I'm being gross.
But the thing is, it's all jokes. It's not that I'm seriously into it — there's just nothing else to talk about on the community, and it's mostly guys shooting the shit anyway.
So you can tell it's just banter, that's why people play along.
The ones who genuinely want to go super deep and serious into it? Even the regulars find those guys annoying.
It's a joke, so we laugh and go with it.
If it were serious, people would genuinely be grossed out and even "that side" wouldn't entertain it.
Of course, I get that some people find it offensive, and I'm not gonna tell them not to speak up or say "I don't like this."
But at the same time, if you cut and block every single thing someone finds uncomfortable, I feel like the community would get way too quiet.
Think of it like any machine.
If one tooth on a gear pops out, yeah, it might start grinding.
But if you just pull that gear out entirely,
you're gonna need something to fill that spot.
If you just yank it out without a replacement, that empty space is gonna mess up the whole mechanism.
At least, that's how I see it.
The gears of the late-night crew — whether you like it or not, League talk isn't enough, so sometimes that fetish genre gear becomes the main axis. And as long as that gear isn't some lunatic that digs way too deep and breaks the whole machine beyond repair...
Unless there's a better topic, I don't think just removing it is a good solution.
