Back when I played League, I always just went to whatever lane I felt like and played whatever champion I wanted to try.. Now I want to at least reach Silver, so I'd like to settle on a position and a champion and ask for advice. Right now I'm thinking top Volibear.. Could you share some small tips, must-bans, and also matchups where if the enemy picks first, I should absolutely not pick Volibear?
I'm a player who was always stuck in Bronze, then took a break for a while.

voli you gotta ban jax or jayce for sure vayne teemo those types you win if you just stick to them otherwise just overfarm and hold out jayce will poke and then knock you away when you try to go in jax just blocks everything except voli's e so overfarming is impossible so if you're gonna do it ban jax or jayce voli wins most early duels when you can fight into champs like sion darius you just q e auto w and back off full tank build or nashor's tooth build if team rng sucks just go sidelane or go navori first and get dueling and play that way i've played over 500 voli games so these are the pro tips i know
