i used to avoid renekton cause he's boring, but played him after a while and even when lane was even, just popping ult and spamming q in mid-game was enough to carry my weight. the whole 'expiration date' thing seems like a thing of the past now. i think i'll start maining him

is there any champ with a higher floor than this one lol lane phase is solid, 6 to 11 is a no-brainer, and even if you int, in teamfights you just pop ult and dive in headfirst, use W on the carries, die and you've done your part

the reason people say he was never that good is because his 5v5 engage is limited so he can't really grab fights by the throat right? that's why you only pick him when the enemy comp has champs that dive into you or when shield break is a good option assuming you ban gp, it's not gonna be easy to just beat up everyone else and climb from the adc's 3rd item onward, if you get focused you're pretty much dead anyway his ult tick damage is strong yeah, but it gets harder to use the later the game goes

it's a solid pick, but for some reason i don't see him as much as before.. feels like as players got better even bronze/silver/gold know how to deal with him now, kinda sad he's not the fearsome renekton of old anymore
