They have all these bizarre mechanics like invincibility and absolute defense
Their kits are designed so they'll never stay dead in the meta
Setting aside how broken their kits are, I think it's because they're melee champs that don't see much pro play. Yasuo especially becomes pretty passive in teamfights and leans more toward an anti-carry role. It also helps that Riot patches them so often that they almost never stay dead lol. If their win rates tank, they get buffed like clockwork, and if they're too much, they get nerfed.
