The 'Geubul' (Spirit Visage) does get the effect, And the other Visages get the effect too. But building tank items on Mundo is way better than building AP on him.

Ludens does proc off Q damage, and since both the explosive damage and Void Staff's magic penetration are applied, there are theoretical reasons to build all of them. While building Deathcap after Luden's does increase the damage from both Luden's and the explosive effect, I think getting the movement speed from Cosmic Drive might be slightly better.
