Mythic Variants that actually had a cool "concept" in my opinion

Just a heads up Regardless of the actual quality, the variants I'm mentioning here are skins where I thought the "concept" was actually fire

Of course, like Brightmoon said, it's pretty mid that it lacks custom UI effects during the ult, a Pentakill animation, or a Homeguard idle pose They brought in such a sick lore setup, but it's a shame there isn't even a short story, let alone a PROJECT cinematic to go with it

Still, it makes sense why the skin quality is better than the original PROJECT: Yi even though he's the protagonist. Instead of just replacing the original in the lore, it acts as a clone villain that actually hypes up the original's hero narrative, so I dig the concept

Fallen God-King Garen vs. Exalted King of Rebels Darius Nothing hits harder than a good old role-reversal where good and evil are swapped I've heard people say the skin quality itself is dogshit But the lore setup is just chef's kiss Especially the fact that Garen's lion turned into a Manticore beast and Darius's wolf became a dragon is a huge plus

Peacemaker High Noon Yone Personally, I'm not a huge fan of how they keep forcing the whole angel/demon thing into the High Noon concept But since the original was demon-themed, making this one angel-themed felt pretty fresh I think the concept was decent enough

Shadow of the Deep LuNami I think these two are the best-made and most ideal Mythic Variants The originals are High Noon Lucian and Coven Nami respectively But you can't even see the original concepts in these. They feel like completely new skins So they don't suffer from that "recycled content" vibe that Mythic Variants usually have

Especially for variants of really old skins, they usually just reuse the old voice lines (like how Fallen God-King Garen still uses the regular God-King lines even though he's supposed to be fallen) But for these two, they actually dubbed new lines that fit the lore, which is a huge W

It's a combo skin born from the Lucian-Nami bot lane synergy But they didn't just abandon Senna; the lore says he made a deal with Nami to save Senna I like how it still shows Lucian's pure-hearted devotion to his wife
