i've pretty much got the worldbuilding down, but i'm also writing an encyclopedia and a history book for that world. won't this take way too long?
If it's your first time writing, just sketch out the world and try a bunch of drafts. If you try to map everything out from the start as a beginner, the story's bound to go off the rails.
