so up til now, back in middle/high school, i'd just brainlessly stack veil with veigar, go full ap, and have fun one-shotting squishies. i'd join games through op.gg chat rooms, but eventually i stopped playing unless it was a 5-man stack. couldn't climb rank either, and every game some teammate or enemy would flex their tier, which was super annoying. then when i did play ranked, i'd always get trolls, so i started drifting away from it. but this season i heard they were giving out a lot of lp, so i thought i'd give ranked another shot. been grinding a few games here and there on my days off, and i've met a lot of cool people on my teams. honestly, ranked's feeling kinda fun these days. just now i tried out the reworked mel since i heard about it, but she's complete dogshit now so i got stomped in lane. thankfully bot lane carried, so i got promoted to diamond—almost cried...
