I'm honestly super satisfied with these lane-specific quests.
The quest rewards are perfectly designed to match the characteristics of each role. Plus, lane swaps have basically disappeared because of the quests, making solo queue feel so much cleaner. It's also great to see lane swaps gone in pro play too. Top laners can finally enjoy a proper 1v1 laning phase, ADCs get their items faster, which is nice, and it feels like every role finally got what they wanted. Since the quests are so diverse for each lane, it's actually fr fun to try out every role at least once.
The best part about these lane quests is that it's going to be way easier for Riot to balance each role from now on.
For example, if top lane impact is too weak? They can just buff the top lane quest and it's fixed. If mid lane impact is too strong? Just nerf the mid lane quest and the problem is solved immediately.
It really makes balancing so much simpler. I'm personally very happy with this lane quest update.

I also think this is one of the best patches ever. First off, they intuitively nerfed the influence of mid and jungle. Then there's the ADC issue where you couldn't get lifesteal or extra items without selling your boots, which was super annoying. For support, Control Wards were too expensive and item slots were always full. And for top lane, Teleport was basically mandatory, so there wasn't much variety in summoner spells. It feels like all these frustrations have been fixed with the lane-specific quests.
