I think the balance is pretty spot-on right now. People are saying it's an ADC meta because ADCs are too strong with 7 items, but if you actually play ADC, you'd know that if your support sucks, you can't even farm or do anything—that's still the same now, so I'm not so sure about it being an ADC meta. To be more precise, it doesn't feel like an ADC meta but a bot-lane meta where support influence has gone up. It doesn't feel like bot became the meta because ADCs got stronger, but because support influence went up.
And top lane also got a lot stronger—guys like Jax and Fiora are running around side lanes destroying towers, and when you see top laners running triple sums (Exhaust/Flash/TP) and popping Exhaust in 1v1s, you can tell top lane influence has gone up a lot too. A fed Jax with Exhaust is just unkillable in a 1v1 lol.
As for mid, with the boot upgrades, assassins who rely on movespeed are looking really good. Gunblade Akali, Gunblade Kat—those kinds of champs feel strong. So mid influence isn't bad right now either.
Top + bot got a bit stronger, mid is whatever, and jungle feels a bit weaker?
But then again, jungle's been feasting for so long that it's fair for it to get toned down—last year it was way too much of a jungle-diff meta.
Bottom line is, I think the current meta is a good meta.
It's not that it's overbuffed or anything More like, things were just jacked up before and it's finally starting to feel normal

if your adc is trash you can't even roam anymore so support can't do shit either, i don't think it matters whose 'influence' is higher lol
