listening to music is basically my life, but my report card just came back with a high grade 2 (out of a 5-grade system) so my mom saw my grades and said if i don't get them up next year she's gonna ship me off to work in a factory, and then she started talking mad shit telling me to stop listening to music. i think she's doing this on purpose because she's always hated that i do hip-hop. so i told her i'd rather stop breathing than stop music, you know? then she told me if i'm gonna act like that, i should just get out of her house. is this actually my fault?

Either your mom is pissed because you haven't been studying, or it's not your fault. As long as it doesn't mess with your grades, there's no such thing as a bad hobby.
