Even with Baron buff.
Last season, at 3 items Veigar could hit 800~900+ AP easy.
Right now, the 3-core build is already set, and the Seraph's nerf was so bad you can't even build it.
I always went for 45% CDR, even if it looks otherwise — so I'd hit 45% with Seraph's Embrace + Transcendence + Scaling CDR + Cosmic Insight.
Back then, I'd go 2 tank items to finish my build, and with 1000 AP, Seraph's shield (600), 2 summoners (Barrier/Heal), and tank items, Veigar really felt like a hyperscaling monster.
Now? Summoner spells? Tank items? Nah, even if enemies have 200 MR they still get oneshot.
Does that mean AP is high now?
Even at 3 items, you're stuck in the 600~ range late.
Compared to last season, AP dropped by like 150~200.
And on top of that, tankiness, CDR, and damage all took a hit compared to last season.
- Seraph's + Deathcap nerfs made stacking AP much harder.
- The ability haste system made getting CDR way harder.
- Compared to the buffed AD damage, armor is way too hard to get without building a mythic tank item.
- Game pace: last season matches were decided at 20 mins, now it's at 10 mins. 5. Nerfing mana items AND then hitting Presence of Mind too — whose dumbass idea was that?<\/span>
Fr, Veigar's only eaten nerfs this season. 52nd out of 52 mid lane champs — literally dead last.
