i've heard flex queue diamond is worth less, but diamond is still diamond, though i guess there are cases where solo queue diamonds are flex queue challengers...
talented people can totally do it, geniuses pick up english that others can't learn in a lifetime by age 5 and master 3-4 other languages by 5, so league is nothing...
Flex queue Diamond is indeed less valuable (I think it's about one tier lower than solo queue).
Still, speaking as someone who's hit Diamond myself, seeing that I reached low Diamond skill level in just 4 months, I think Diamond 2 in 6 months is definitely possible.
After I had a breakthrough in Silver 3, I hit Diamond in 6 months and now I'm Master. I think I'm pretty average too, so that kind of climb isn't even a sign of talent...
Right, where you set the starting point matters too.
In my case, before I got discharged in September 2017, I was leveling accounts from 23 to 30, learning about LoL, and playing a few normals — I consider that as not really playing. So if it's something like (starting from Silver to 6 months), I think it's definitely possible.
If you change the question mark to a period, that becomes my story.
