Thresh is getting his Q cooldown nerfed next patch,

but honestly, Thresh's base stats are absolute garbage.

He's gotta go in to do anything, but his body's like wet paper, so he just explodes the moment he engages.

The only thing keeping him alive is Aftershock.

It's not that Thresh is OP, it's that Aftershock is a straight-up motherless rune.

Look at this shit—it gives +70 armor and MR at level 1. Insane.

Fiddlesticks is in the same boat.

Next patch ain't gonna drop Thresh from Tier 1. Who gives a shit if a support's Q cooldown goes up a bit?

As long as Aftershock stays strong, Thresh isn't going anywhere from Tier 1.

But what if Riot later nerfs Aftershock so ranged champs only get half the bonus armor and MR?
