Why are there so many complaints in the video comments? People saying the criteria are different, but Chovy actually improved and played way better this year outside of Worlds compared to before. Unlike 22, 23, 24 when they split the domestic trophies, this year Gen.G ate everything except Worlds. Don't you think he deserves it? And if you're gonna go down that road and say Kiin should be the winner... honestly, neither of them would be a weird pick, so I think just giving it to the mid laner is the right call.

Should've done it either before Worlds started, between the end of regionals, or been consistent and only pushed the domestic league. Pair that with Zeka winning Player of the Year in 2022, and the whole process of giving it out after Worlds is over just makes it a flamewar launchpad. Yeah... can't be helped.

In 2022 too, it was T1 spring win / Gen.G summer win / DRX worlds win, and I still thought Zeka deserved it just fine. But this year, Gen.G won everything except Worlds, so the situation is completely different, bro.

괴물가락Nah, this is the "LCK" Awards — an award show for players who performed well in the league. So you're telling me it makes sense for a guy who played like ass all regular season, finished 6th, only barely got a 4th seed spot at Worlds because the 6th man Juhan hard-carried the gauntlet, to then win Player of the Year just off winning Worlds and riding solo-kill impact hype? The award show itself doesn't have great prestige or credibility anyway, it's just drama bait. Not that Chovy shouldn't have won. Yeah, he fumbled at Worlds, but winning LCK + MSI + EWC is still insane.
